This made me giggle!
This is the blog for the 2012-13 school year as I study abroad in Italy as a Rotary Youth Exchange student.

Two More Months!
Two months from today, I will arrive in Catania. I am so excited! If it were up to me, I would fly there tomorrow to start the best year of my life. Unfortunately, I leave a lot later than most of the other kids going on exchange. That just means that I have to push all that fun into a little less time. I can't complain about leaving late, however because a lot of people don't have this opportunity in a lifetime! I wouldn't trade my life with anyone at the moment, if it meant losing the opportunity of a lifetime.

My School
This is the school that I will be attending in Italy. It's a private Catholic school called Liceo Linguistico-Istituto San Giuseppe. In Italy, they have different types of high schools; this one is a language school. Language schools have a lot of focus on Latin, Philosophy, History, and a foreign language (in my case I will probably take English). School will probably start for me around the 18th of September. I am not sure if I have to wear a uniform or not.
